Lil Jon Eltoro Interview

So pretty much Lil Jon is one of the biggest badass street dogs in the game right now. He rides for Lucky Scooter Parts and is currently filming for the new Lucky Dvd. I got to meet him at SD5 in Cali a few months ago and hes a super chill guy. So if your some pussy park rat and dont know what El Toro is... El Toro is a 20 set that is at a High School called El Toro in California. Alot of famous skaters and bike riders have tried there luck at hitting the rails or the huge 20 set. Our man tried to 360


Josh- So when did you first thinkin about sending it down one prob the most famous stair sets in the world?

Jon- When tyler wheeland said yo lets go to el toro so jon can do it!

Josh- So Twhee thought of this grand idea not you? haha

Jon- Well I thought to 360 it but he brought me there!

Because he knew i would try it

 

Josh- So all you knew is that you wanted to do a huge 360 down a set?

 

Jon- Yup and i knew that el toro is epic and no one would ever think about trying it let alone 3ing it.

Josh- Once you got there was it bigger or smaller than you were thinking it was? Becuase sometimes when your thinking about sending it you always think its to big or small in your mind ya know?

 

Jon- When i was at the top the length was alot shorter but the height was huge compared to what i thought... I tend to not think about how high or how far i just try to go fast enough to make it!

 

Josh- I know you've been to Eltoro twice now so how many times have you acutally tired to 3 it?

 

Jon- 7 trys. 2 the first trip then 5 the next.

 

Josh- Twhee told me you pretty much landed it once or twice then the last time you tried it you smacked your knee pretty hard on the ground. How did the impact feel after floating a 3 down 20 fucking stairs?!

 

Jon- The first two tries i didnt feel the impact because my adrenline was pumping. but i think it was the third try i completely bail and didnt even land on my scooter and i thought my leg was going to snap. after that the impact was so much but i just kept trying. then when i hit my knee my leg just went numb...

 

 

Jon also has some pretty tricky park moves to go along with his street skills!

 

Josh- Damn dude thats pretty intense. So when do you think the next attempt will be to get this bitch landed? We all know your going to land it! Its just a matter of time now.

 

Jon- I have some stuff i need to do first with my scooter because most of the tries i was looping out so i have to figure something out.

 

Josh- You thinking you need a wider deck or something maybe to take a little bit more of the impact? haha

 

Jon- Yeah i need wider and maybe a longer deck...gotta do some tests and mostly take the impact!
